Individualized Treatment Specializing in:
Trauma - Addictions - PTSD - Neurofeedback - Marriage Friendly Therapy
A Few of the Latest Evidence Based Treatments We Use :
EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing - An extensively researched integrated psychotherapy approach effective for the treatment of trauma/PTSD, as well as anxiety and addiction. This therapy has helped millions of people get relief from psychological stress. To learn more about EMDR, visit www.emdria.org.
Certified in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy (HCH) - Renee was trained by the Founder of HCH, Diane Zimberoff , this approach is used by major health organizations around the world to treat trauma and other conditions resistant to traditional psychotherapy. Fewer than five clinicians are located in the greater Houston area to perform this speciality work. Different from Hypnosis, Heart Centered Hypnotherapy is a safe and proven approach for getting in touch with attitudes, memories and stored information within your subconscious. "Experiencing" your emotions is key to your ability to heal. I will gently guide you to a deeply relaxed yet alert state, seeking to resolve inner conflicts and trauma to emerge as a transformed person.
qEEG and Neurofeedback (NF)- We provide complete brain mapping to identify areas of the brain that need attention to improve a host of areas. We also incorporate neurofeedback in the treatment of the following conditions: ADHD, ADD, Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Anxiety, Stress and to enhance performance, both physically and mentally. Neurofeedback is the process of showing the brain its own activity so that it can learn to change itself.
Marriage Friendly Therapy - I believe that marriage has important personal, professional and social value. I will seek to help you restore your marriage if that is possible. Most couples assume this is what all therapists believe. But it is not. Because of their professional training, many therapists hold a “neutral” value towards whether a marriage survives or whether the couple divorces. Studies show this is the most common stance even among therapists who identify themselves as marriage and family therapists. The bottom line: most therapists are neutral towards marriages that are in trouble, whereas I aim to directly support the viability of troubled marriages. This is the key difference and why I am listed with the Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists.
